Ladies and gentlemen!
Dear classical music lovers!
I am sincerely happy to meet you again at the 7th Malta International Music Festival.
Small springs form turbulent rivers that flow into the world ocean. Our festival that has grown into a high-profile international cultural event is going through a similar process. Seven years ago we started to arrange the first concert series, instrumental and vocal competitions as well as master classes in all music disciplines. Step by step we were gaining the confidence of a very sophisticated public and I am happy to welcome you today at our Festival of world-class stars.
I am convinced that the Festival will surpass all our expectations this year and we will be proud of the outcomes of our efforts. And now I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all participants to this creative process, especially the members of our teams and their partners.
Long live Music!
